Lenn Grayes Photography is a locally-owned volume photography company in Arlington Heights, IL, specializing in photography of young children. My sole focus is on the beautiful subject, the kids themselves, and creating a fun, genuine experience for the little ones, so they will enjoy having their pictures taken.

From newborns to elementary school students, a relationship is built and it shows in the final images. I focus on building relationships with the tiniest of humans, who change so much over the course of just a few months.

I work very closely with the school staff to create a fun and relaxed portrait session for each child. Parents never have to decide how many photos they will purchase before they see the images. I offer families an easy online ordering system, where parents can browse their children’s portraits, and place print and product orders at their leisure.

This experience will provide timeless portraits that families will treasure for a lifetime.

Need Outfit Ideas?

You know your child best, so dress them in comfortable clothes that will make their personality shine! If you need a little help, here are a few more ideas for Picture Day.

Accessorize: Accessories shouldn’t overwhelm your child, but instead enhance their cuteness! Children look especially adorable in fun hats, vests and jackets, and don’t forget about their shoes – they will show in full length poses.

Layers and Textures: Dress your child in lace, ruffles, ribbons, etc. Layers add dimension and great texture to the portrait.

Sibling Pictures: Coordinate, but don’t match. Choose a color palette you love and coordinate both children’s outfits!

No time to shop? Denim pants or skirts with plain, solid colored t-shirts are a classic look!

Do you photograph siblings?

Absolutely. If more than one child attends the school, they will be photographed together and separately. You will receive a beautiful gallery for each child with sibling images being in the youngest’s. Both gallery orders can be placed at the same time!

When do I need to pay for pictures?

There is no requirement to pre-order before seeing the images. You will make your selections in your online gallery, and there is no obligation to buy.

What types of payments are accepted?

Online ordering accepts all major credit cards.

Do you sell digital downloads / digital files?

Digital files are immediately available for download as soon as your payment goes through.

Can I order prints too?

Yes! In your own gallery, you can order prints, large canvases, and albums. You can customize your own package where you order prints as small as wallet-sized to those as large as 16×24.

Can Grandma / other extended family members purchase prints?

One of the wonderful things about the online gallery is that anyone with the passcode (or forwarded link) can place an order. If your family members are out of state or not local, they can still have their orders shipped directly to them! *I take your privacy seriously. Please be sure to forward to them your private gallery link. Due to security, Lenn Grayes Photography will not provide access to anyone but primary caregivers.

Can I see the photos before ordering? How do I order?

Absolutely! You will be sent a proofing gallery to view the images to the email address on file. All ordering is done online via a password-protected gallery. There is no pre-printing or viewing at pickup to purchase.

My child was absent or did not want to cooperate. What can you do?

I will not force any child who refused to be photographed. For any child who was not photographed but would still be interested in having their pictures taken, book a session with me for a more personalized experience.

Price List

Once you enter your own private, password-protected gallery, the following are your options for Digital Downloads:

  • $25 for each digital file
  • $500 to purchase all the files in your gallery

You can order the standard package order which includes the following for $150 (single pose only):

  • 1 sheet of 8 wallet-sized prints
  • 3-4×6
  • 2-5×7
  • 1-8×10

You can also create your own print package by combining any of these products with a picture of your child in different poses:

  • 1 sheet of 8 wallet-sized prints with a different picture.
  • Print sizes can go as high as 16×24.
  • Order a framed print for Grandma, and have it delivered straight to her.
  • Create an album to display in your living room.
