Lenn Grayes Photography is a locally-owned volume photography company in Arlington Heights, IL, specializing in photography of young children. My sole focus is on the beautiful subject, the kids themselves, and creating a fun, genuine experience for the little ones, so they will enjoy having their pictures taken.

From newborns to elementary school students, a relationship is built and it shows in the final images. I focus on building relationships with the tiniest of humans, who change so much over the course of just a few months.

I work very closely with the school staff to create a fun and relaxed portrait session for each child. Parents never have to decide how many photos they will purchase before they see the images. I offer families an easy online ordering system, where parents can browse their children’s portraits, and place print and product orders at their leisure.

This experience will provide timeless portraits that families will treasure for a lifetime.

Spring Sessions: Bye Preschool, Hello kinder!

Students have the option to have their pictures taken with their outfits for the day, or they can put on a white cap and gown for fun!

Outdoor Sessions

If you have an outdoor school, and the weather is nice, we can definitely move the photoshoot outside.

Fall Sessions 1 (Sep-Oct)

Back to School sessions are usually photographed with a white background. If there is extra time, students have the option to play around with the accessories I bring to the photoshoot.

Fall Sessions 2 (Oct-Nov)

For photo sessions during late Fall, the students can choose to wear what they wore for Halloween, or have their portraits taken with a Christmas-theme background.

Families with siblings

Siblings are first photographed individually, and then together. Parents will receive a beautiful gallery for each child with sibling images being in the youngest’s. Both gallery orders can be placed at the same time!

Heirloom and classic photographs

I allot 5 minutes for each child, but we would be very lucky if we can get a toddler to give us 10 seconds for pictures. But we do our best to create photographs that parents will love. An all-white background also helps us with creating these types of images.

Photo sessions for all ages

Whether 6 weeks old or 2 years old, even the littlest “students” will have their portraits taken. I bring a little seat poser for assisting in sitting up and often have a basket or little couch to add an additional pose. We are sure to verify sitting capabilities and belly temperament before giving those a try.
